A Meeting With Dr. Forcella
Last Monday evening (November 14) Suepinda and I were part of a fair size group of ten Chapel Hill and Carrboro residents that met with Dr. Forcella to discuss matters of education and our view of what the district does right, where if fails and possible methods for improvement. Members of the group included NAACP Education Committee chairs, Chapel Hill/Carrboro NAACP president, McDougle Parent's Group chair and several others.

What was your take on the documentary Race To Nowhere?
This past Tuesday, January 25 the documentary film Race to Nowhere was shown at Chapel Hill High. For me it was a interesting view on a topic I had not really considered as I advocate for students who have lower academic scores. I am opening the discussion up for parents and community members who have seen the film or heard about it to keep the conversation going.
